All-American Baseball Game Special Events
PlayStation® All-American MLB 07 The Show™ Challenge
Every year, The All-American Baseball Game holds the annual MLB The Show™ Challenge, a national online gaming tournament which features the top PlayStation® Gamers in the country. The tournament begins with a school wide competition within each All-American’s high school using MLB 07 The Show™ for PlayStation® 2. The preliminary competition will determine the winner who will represent each All-American’s high school in a National PlayStation® 2 Online Tournament. Each school receives all of the necessary equipment to host the tournament.
Each winner from the intra-school high school tournament will then compete online in MLB 07 The Show™. The online tournament is coordinated by SportsLink and is ultimately narrowed down to two finalists (one east and one west). The two finalists will be awarded an all-expense paid trip (plus one guest) to Albuquerque, New Mexico during the All-American Baseball Game presented by PlayStation® ‘game week’, which will be held from June 2nd –June 5th 2007. In Albuquerque, the East and West finalists will compete for the championship of the All-American PlayStation® 2 Challenge at Isotopes Park during the baseball skills competition.
